Great true crime podcast
This is one of my favorite true crime podcast. The episodes are super informative without going into so much detail you get bored. There is always a line between not wanting to gross out the audience with all the gore of crimes and giving all the details so that you can understand the crime and it’s depravity, Esther walks that line perfectly. Big plus too, I read and listen to a lot of true crime and she has still been able to dig up interesting crimes that I haven’t heard of.

Wonderful Podcast!
I love Esther's delivery of tragic and disturbing information. She allows for the listener to be suprised on their own with the lack of emotion in her storytelling. I am in the business of Mental Health and it is very refreshing to have information delivered in a more "clinical" manner with the absence of personal opinions and unnessary information. I love other podcasts that are "silly or tongue and cheek" too, but like I said Esther's Once Upon A Crime is a refreshing change! Thank you and keep up the wonderful work!

Just right
Ive listened to many many crime casts. Esther has the perfect blend of story, research and talking. One of my fav female casters.

Favorite Podcast
I was not much of a podcast listener until this year and i started listening to different ones and asking around what is people’s personal favorites. my girlfriend recommended me this one and i was instantly hooked. She does such an amazing job at all the details and findings she gets for these podcasts. just an inspiration for me to make my own!

If you love true crime, this is for you
I found this podcast while searching for more true crime podcasts, and this one has now become one of my favorites! If you can't get enough of the True Crime genre, you won't be disappointed. Each episode is part of a series and in that way it's a little different from most other true crime podcasts. For example there is a series on killer kids and that would be the theme for each episode in that series. Great work Esther, keep it up!

Very informative and entertaining
This podcast is one of my favorites. It has a great storyteller , lots of information and every episode is told in a way to keep the audience captivated. Highly recommended.

Crime Podcast On Point
This podcast is always good. Esther always stays straight to the point. I appreciate it! She is wonderful at what she does! I recommend this to anyone that loves listening to true crime!

Great show!
This is a great true crime podcast! It's unique in that the hosts tells it in story form. I love that she chooses stories that aren't overly publicized, and I love her sense of humor! She chooses a new topic each month, and then picks cases that follow that theme. It's a lot of fun!!

My latest addiction
Loving this podcast! Most of the cases were new to me, but some I was familiar with. Each case I already knew, Esther has provided additional information that I found fascinating. Keep up the good work!

One of my top true crime podcasts!
Esther is just so great with this podcast. She dives into the backstory of each one in a way that the other true crime podcasts I’m subscribed to doesn’t. And she picks very interesting cases, a lot of which haven’t been heard of before. Thank you for doing such a great job!!! ❤️ PS I love your witty sarcastic comments that you insert sometimes, they’re great 😂

In depth stories and iconic dry humor.
I love this podcast because Esther is a great storyteller and also has such a unique sense of humor. I love that she chooses stories that are not being done by other true crime podcasters and makes them so interesting.

📽 weekly addiction
I really enjoy this podcast! I love listening to Esther’s voice and hearing about crimes I’ve never heard of before.
Episode 8 always sticks out to me. “Does anybody like Monday’s?” No, no one likes Monday’s!
There are many true crime podcasts out there, this is in my top 3.
Keep them coming, I’ll keep listening.
