I throw 5-Star reviews around like sewer-covers...reserving them for my real favorites. This podcast has been one of my go-to’s since somewhere within the first 10 episodes or so. The host tells a good story, the production is simple but perfect, and every episode is entertaining. Always a “the day it drops listen” for me. Also, there’s something to be said for being reliable...and this show is like clockwork. Never misses as far as I can remember. It’s there on schedule every time. Just a solid, professionally produced, always interesting listen. Great job!!!

Hooked ASAP

Esther does an amazing job with her story telling, clear voice and easy pace. I picture every detail in my mind and as a True Crime fan, this means a lot. She provides the needed details such as dates, years and times of events necessary to set the time and space placement - critical to good crime stories. I’m a huge fan. Keep it up Esther!

The Best!!!!!!

I enjoy this podcast so much. Upon discovering this gem, I binged though all the available episodes. Now I anxiously await each new episode. The stories are interesting for sue. I enjoy Esther’s delivery very much. Nice voice. Articulate. No game showy voice attempts. The subject matter is sad for sure, yet the listener understands her empathy without her resorting to a sad sounding halted speech delivery.

I am OBSESSED with this podcast! Esther gets straight to the facts, and tells everything clearly and concisely. She is full of knowledge. She also has a very pleasing voice to listen to! I love listening to this at work, while driving, at the gym, etc. Keep it up girl, you’re doing amazing!

Great Stories, Thorough Research

This podcast has thorough research of some well-known and not-so-well-known crimes. Even if you think you know a crime, you will learn something new. I especially like when she does a theme like “A Woman Scorned” or “Academy Award Winning Crimes.” The host’s formal/stilted delivery took some time to grow on me. But the best episodes are still when she has a guest and it is more of a conversation rather than her reading a script.

One of my favorites

Great podcast. Love her voice and most of the episodes are something I've never heard about. Could not have prepared myself for the episode about Mary Vincent though. Never heard it before but it’s haunted me for about a month.

High Quality

Esther, you do such a great job researching each episode. I am often aware of the people or cases you discuss in your episodes prior to listening, but I ALWAYS learn new info that I had never heard before. I don't know how you do it, but keep it up!

Binge Worthy Crime Series! ❤️

I absolutely love love LOOOOVE this podcast. I listen to it every day, and I usually love falling asleep to it! Owning my own business, I I think it wrapped up with day-to-day stresses, so listening to this podcast really takes my mind off of everything. All of the stories never cease to amaze me, and I always have a great topic to talk about! I hope everyone who listens will give this podcast five stars, because it is phenomenal! Ester also has a very soothing and captivating voice… She is a great storyteller, and I always enjoy her perspective on things.

Perfect Narrative-style True Crime

For me, this is the leading true crime podcast in a fairly crowded genre. I love everything about this podcast— the production quality, Esther’s voice, the creative series themes, and most of all the straightforward narrative style of the podcast. There’s no sidetracking or distracting banter, just a beautifully delivered compelling true crime story each week.

Lovely podcast

It’s great to find a podcast without cussing. I can relax and enjoy it on Saturday night and go to church guilt free on Sunday morning. I very much enjoy the way she tells all the facts in the stories.
